An Activity for Preschoolers:
This is a great activity to explore the different colors and textures of autumn leaves.

Before You Begin:
Cut the contact paper to the length of your window before you begin.

Activity Goals:
Work cooperatively to gather materials
Learn about different types of leaves th at can be found during autumn

Furthermore:
You can also do this activity in the springtime, using flowers, grass shoots and other
plants.

Steps:

1. Take a walk with your children and have them collect leaves. Advise children to pick
   leaves that are flat.
2. Lay contact paper sticky side up on the floor. Peel off backing and place leaves on the
   contact paper.
3. Stick the contact paper to the window and admire autumn’s beauty!
