An Activity for Preschoolers:
A quick and simple activity to get in the fall spirit!

Before You Begin:
For this simple activity, all you need are paper plates, glue, tempera sticks (orange and
brown), fabric leaves, foam leaves and scissors.

Activity Goals:
To learn about how fall weather changes leaves.

Furthermore:
This activity is a great addition to science and nature lessons that discuss the changing
colors of leaves. Making fall wreaths also helps the kids get excited for a new season!

Steps:

  1. Cut out the center of a paper plate.
  2. Use brown and orange tempera sticks to color the outsides of the wreath.
  3. Glue fabric leaves on the edges of the wreath.
  4. Glue foam leaves on top to complete your fall wreath.
